Ask away...if interested...

Non-trad here...

Does it feel good or does it suck?

Awesome man! 👍👍

Dont be dumb with the money. If your IRA isn't maxed out, make sure it is. 401k as well.

If you have the option of treating yourself or paying off debt--pay off debt. You don't want any debt over your head.

I imagine it feels like warm apple pie.

Depends, how did you make that money? :naughty:

And just imagine- I make 15k for an entire year!

How'd you make it?
So, this is the question to be answered:

Here is realistically how it happened.

Tax return came back: 7grand+
Monthly salary: 4g +/-
Previous year performance review: 3g+
Profit sharing: 1g+

All came in the month of March. I know some people on here are way beyond...but for a guy like me you get that chill feeling in you n salivate (but also look inside you and say i gotta prove am a better person now and use it wisely)

LOL. Your tax return? Seriously? You didn't make 10 grand - you just got back the principle on a zero percent interest loan you gave to the government.

In the words of MedPR: 0/10 !!

4g a month is a pretty decent salary.

What is your profession?

a pretty good one...in the skies kinda job...

The whole point of me even boasting about this is to wonder about a future that gets us to this point on a monthly basis +...but at the end of the day/month/year...the true spirit of our well being lies in the satisfaction with what you do (enjoy)...

Soon or ltr...many on here will make loads of dough...but you will find most of them/us wanting even more. Cant quench/satisfy that human belly.

Give him a mountain of Gold, and he will ask for another one.

Is that $10K gross or $10K net?

Did you at least blow any of the money on booze, drugs, and hookers?

If you want some place to invest that cash, I know an African Prince who can triple your investment before you even finish saying the words "Western Union."

Dude...the + signs have undisclosed figures...n this post ain't for anal of thought

10K is figurative...way bigger than that...

I respectfully agree. Satisfaction comes from helping others even if that is a cliché.

First, 120K salary (10K/mo) is lower than any physician specialty salary average.

Regardless after you hit a certain dollar figure your family and social life become more important.

After 300K per year, my free time becomes much more important than my salary.

I dunno....If your salary is around 180k, then you will be taking home about 10k/mo after taxes and social security. And if your salary is more, well I'm sure loan repayment will help bring you down a few notches as well.

I wasn't sure if the OP's salary numbers were pre or post tax numbers. I was assuming they were pre-tax. Hence why I used pre-tax numbers.

wait!. How is this related to medicine and our premed world. Don't get me wrong OP. congratz enjoy it or save it...
