3.8ish sGPA and cGPA
2014 MCAT (8,8,8) = 24
2012 MCAT (8,7,7) = 22
Solid EC's and clinical experiences
Good LOR's (including 2 from DO's)
Should I re-take, or will my highest score be good enough for these schools?
LECOM-E, KYCOM, KCUMB?

No shot at KCUMB. I suggest a retake, you're MCAT is below the matriculating average for all DO schools, which was a little over a 27.
Its a reach but I wouldn't say no shot. I don't think a retake is necessary depending on how picky OP is!No shot at KCUMB. I suggest a retake, you're MCAT is below the matriculating average for all DO schools, which was a little over a 27.
It's ok for LECOM-E
Why? To get a matriculant average of 27, some of those students have scores <27. I think it's fair to guesstimate a 4 point swing in either direction (not considering the outliers). Besides, his GPA is above the average. An 8,8,8 MCAT is pretty much the gold standard so he won't be screened pre-interview, and there's a lot more to an application other than numbers that can give a competitive edge. Saying there's no shot whatsoever is a little extreme. Competitive? maybe not, but good enough I'd hope so.

Can't go by average. 27 was average when I went. Just have to apply. If you don't put your cards on the table then you don't have chance. Its a reach but I wouldn't say no shot. I don't think a retake is necessary depending on how picky OP is!
Cabin LECOM is more competitive then when you went! Average is a 27 MCAT. I would say LECOM is a mild reach.

Because as a URM with a much much higher MCAT, KCUMB told me to go kick rocks. OP is below avg for ALL DO schools, and is fighting an uphill battle as it is. Can the OP get accepted? Sure, they can, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get much love from the COMs. Personally I'd retake in order to solidify my chances of getting accepted.
You'd stand a chance at schools like KYCOM. Look at schools that are newer as they usually have a lower average MCAT
