In general,

how many SCIENCE (from science professors) LOR?

how many NON-SCIENCE LOR?

how many health professional LOR (from MD or DO)?

I'd have 3 sciences, 1-2 non-science, and one health professional.

2 sciences, 1 non, and 1 healthcare. Tip: make sure you form somewhat of a good relationship with the people you approach for LOR's. I've heard stories of people writing sh*tty LORs for students that thought they were money with the profs.

Which LOR are considered non-science?
LORs written by employers considered non-science?

Yeah that would be non-science.

I think the LOR requirements may vary from school to school as well. You might want to check every school that you are interested in.

Non-science means history/poli-sci/english/philosophy/comparative studies etc. No, it does not mean an employer.

are they really strict about non-science LOR's? i finished my bachelor's 2 yrs ago and am taking science prereqs now.. i doubt my non-science profs from 2 yrs ago remember me to write me a LOR.. u think i can just substitute another science LOR instead?

You should check this with the school you are interested in. They can only give you the definite answer.
