Can anyone tell me what kind of dog this is? It is beautiful and I've been trying to figure it out but I just can't get the breed. Is it mixed or pure? WHAT IS IT?

Have you tried a reverse image search through Google? Looks like husky + something I can't quite put my finger on

99% sure that's a Siberian husky...
LOL thank you guys for the responses, I just saw it and I had to know what it was because its SOO beautiful! Wait so does anyone know for sure cause I got a lot of answers..someone said its a mastiff lol I dont think so
Please just do a google image search for "Alaskan Malamute" and see if you agree with me. I'm 99% sure.
I love that I can come here and you guys give me real answers thought like I would not have gotten this on my own at all THANK YOU GUYS
No, they said 'Tibetan Mastiff'...look up mastiff and then look up Tibetan Mastiff, they're quite dissimilar looking. That answer seems the most likely out of the thread thus far imo, so don't laugh it off until you look it up!!LOL thank you guys for the responses, I just saw it and I had to know what it was because its SOO beautiful! The fur type is all wrong for a malamute though. Are we even looking at the same picture? Tibetan Mastiffs have floppy ears and the one in the picture has very pointy ears. Plus the coloring would be unusual for a Tibetan Mastiff. It's a big Malamute.

I don't think it actually is a TM, but I also don't think it's a straight-up Malamute. The size and fur type are more like the TM, ears and coloring (maybe tail shape) like Malamute.
Hopefully it's a big wonderful mutt!![]()
Ah, that's a fur variation I hadn't seen on the Malamute before. All the pics I'd seen before (and the lovable guy who lived next door to me for a large chunk of my childhood) were more like this guy:I don't see what you're saying at all. How is the fur type wrong for a malamute? 😕

It's not just grooming...my neighbor's dog always looked like that, it was just the way his coat grew.I don't know if it's a fur "type" or if it's just groomed vs. not groomed.
some random malamute page said:Malamutes have several coat types but only one is the correct breed standard. The proper coat has a short dense undercoat and medium length guard hairs over the body. Sometimes a recessive gene pops up in a litter and it can produce a long coat Malamute or a woolly Malamute. These 2 coat types require frequent grooming to keep the coat clean and not matted up.

An enormous malamute? (I work at an animal hospital, btw.)

Nope! When I say 'neighbor' I mean 'the door that opened literally 3ft from my own because we were adjacent townhouse units'. I knew the dog very well. Actually, it was a sweet gig...she was a flight attendant, and I was the little kid who got paid big bucks to watch him whenever she was out of town because he was bigger than me!Maybe your neighbor took him to get groomed often.![]()
Hahaha, love Borat, but my friends from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan refuse to watch it... 🙁Something tells me that upon reading the title of this threat, I was literally the only person whose first thought was the following scene of fine cinematic art:
