What kind of extra curricular actives did you do besides shadowing a dentist?

I think it defeats the purpose of EC when you only do them for academic reasons. Do what you enjoy, otherwise adcoms see it for what it is.


Edit: Unless you enjoy academics... mathletes are athletes too.

2009 lost in intramural championship of intermediate soccer. we lost so we didnt get the T-shirt.
This season we are in the beginners division. That T-shirt is as good as mine.

in my spare time, i play recreationally on 76ers defense, real madrids' striker and mariner's 3rd base man(no i am not ichiro, i play whenever he gets injured)

i also preside over the African Aids initiative, raised over 1.5billion dollar (i was the one who convinced the Gates to get w/ the program, they donated 1.49999999billion dollars and i donated the 0.00000001billion)

and finally
i play poker with the Pope and Kim Jong Il at the same time! (let me tell you, it's hard to get these two down at the same table, much harder than convincing a kid to sit still for a filling)
