Hello all,
I wanted to ask is it necessary that we have a research experience in the sciences? I mean I currently started research in Engineering (I am majoring in Industrial engineering) but my project consists of the healthcare industry.
Basically what I am doing is talking with Hershey Medical center and this other private physician practice and trying to help address inefficiency. (Great networking for me in a way since I get to talk to administrators, nurses, and doctors). I was wondering would this research be good for applying to med school next year?
My research adviser really wants me to get a paper out sometime next summer because I told him I wanted to go to graduate school (I had to kind of lie since thats the only way to get research these days).
Thanks
