ECU

Applied to Case Western as well ........Finished SMEP program (non-URM)..... I don't know where else to apply to ........(submitted my AMCAS with 3 schools on it)

I have Voluntereed in ED, was Philanthropy chair during MBA, have done fund raising etc, worked in rural underserved areas in India, shadowing family physician for past 8 months (want to go into family/internal) don't want to do any research per say (so no MD/PhD) ......

Try Duke, East Carolina Univ Brody, Univeristy of NC Chapel Hill, and Wake Forrest if you want to stay in state.

Out of curiosity, where exactly were you in india? I've spent a few months in Tamil Nadu (Madurai) and Andhra (Mahabubnagar) working on improving health care for villagers...

i can't really help you with schools to apply to, since i didn't look anywhere on the east coast. but i will say that you should definitely apply to more than 3. maybe 10 or 15 or so. even though your stats are really good, this application game is a total crap shoot. you could get turned down from some of your "safety" schools (if there is such a thing in med school admissions) and accepted to some of your reaches. if you want to stay in state, i'd make sure to apply to every in-state med school. then pick a few others and apply to those, too.
