Anyone know?
I know of SLU...haha
I know of SLU...haha
basically the ones not worth going to
look at SOPHAS!
or look at the MSAR and phone MPH heads.
the MSAR has MPH programs in it??
no but it has contacts for MD/MPH programs.
I think if you want to get into an MD program. It might help to do an MPH at a university that has an MD/MPH program....
OP, the USC Keck School of Medicine has an MPH program that has rolling admissions. They take new students in the Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters each year.

thanks! is there anywhere that lists average GPAs or anything like that for admissions into specific MPH programs?
Mount Sinai is rolling admissions so you can still apply there. Dartmouth's deadline is May 15. I think Brown's deadline is May 31st. Hope that helps and good luck!
Most MPH programs will require a GRE score, at least from the good programs I've glanced over. Look at the MPH forums for better advice.
theres nothing stopping you from applying but just broadly going for programs that are still open isn't the best way to go IMO.
Do you have specific intentions/reasons for getting an MPH? USC, Sinai, Dartmouth, and Brown are ALL over the map and none are really strong in any one particular discipline (or known in public health circles for that matter). Dartmouth's program is almost brand-new i think....
alright let me expand on my earlier comment which was in fact serious....
an MPH program is only worthwhile if you are truly interested in public health and will be getting experience. While you can just take the classes and get the degree it isn't particularly useful without any experience. also it's important to go to a strong program so you can have good opportunities while you're there. Unfortunately while most strong programs (JHU/Harvard) require 2 years of experience some don't...however those are 2-year programs. Just taking classes and getting an MPH won't impress anyone on the med school adcom or beyond. Save yourself the money and go get a job during your year off and by all means retake the MCAT! Getting an MPH shouldn't be one of those things that you just do to kill time while reapplying.
