If I have not heard from schools or I have done their supplements should I be worried now if I haven't been contacted? When can I assume I'm rejected??

Also, if I am starting a new job this year it was okay to include it on my application just as long as I said I will be starting it?

Bro/sis, its only august 8th. Interview invites are given out all the way until next february/march.

If you are in this same position in December you can start worrying, its early August, I doubt any schools have even conducted any interviews at this point. Calm down. If you want to indicate on your application you have a new job, go ahead. Unless that job is dental related, it likely wont hurt you if you don't, help you if you do.

I am a second batcher... And I applied to a few more yesterday.... But temple, NYU, Boston, AT, OSU, nova, Lecom, UofM, UDM, uk...

What state? I think about 40% of OSU applicants that are in-state get accepted. They haven't even sent out the first interview invite yet.

I just looked at your stats, they're pretty good and you should have a nice shot at most places, especially since you attend OSU for undergrad. Hope to see you there next year 🙂

Are you ready? Invitations for the first interview date (Sept 14) will go out next Tuesday, August 13. We will be calling all the candidates we are inviting.

Be sure:

1. Your ringer is on.
2. If you cannot answer, please be sure that your voice mail is professional and states your full name--without it we cannot leave a message because we cannot verify it is you.
3. OSU is added to your safe email list--we will follow-up with an email filled with details about the interview day. A formal invite will go out in the mail.
