I'm scheduled to take the OAT this August and am freaking out a little bit... I have a 3.5 GPA and a slightly better science GPA. What do I need to get on the OAT in order to get an interview??? Is it true that the scaling has changed this year?... Also, any study tips out there?? Thanks

Pacific, ICO, Penn, and Houston

Those schools have avgs posted on their sites. I think if you did a little bit of browsing you would find the answers you are looking for.

Anything over 300 on your OAT should suffice. Not sure how the new scale works. I took the OAT in January and got a 320 AA and 310 TS with a 3.3 GPA and got accepted, so if I got in with those numbers, you should be able to also. I think it really comes down to how well you do on the interview.

Study with the old OAT test on the opted website, and any of the computerized mock exams that are available. If you do well on those, you should do well on the actual OAT. Best wishes!
