What physics subject do you have the most difficulty in?

Believe it or not, I could not for the life of me understand light and optics no matter how much I practiced it. That and electrochemistry (shudders). Thank God I didn't have either on my MCAT.

i'm pretty sure mcat reps from aamc are going to look at this poll, snicker, and have an optics passage in every PS from now on :meanie:

You are probably correct, unfortunately. Bring on the magnetism! Bring on the fluids, the galvanic cells, the centripetal motion! Just not the optics, please! 🙁

I am definitely in the minority, as electromagnetism/ optics and waves come to me much more easier than mechanics! Strange huh?

Although MCAT mechanics isn't too bad, compared to my university's physics course...

magnetism definitely... still can't grasp which way a current will be induced in a wire by a changing magnetic field?? Used to have a problem with optics but I found that remembering all the equations has served me well so complete comprehension hasn't been needed anymore.
