what range of schools to apply to based on your score and Medican MCAT Scores on MSAR

Hello! I just received my score today and was wondering on what range of scores would you apply to?

For example, I got a score of 510 and am thinking about applying to schools with median mcat scores from 514-502.

Is 514 too high and a waste of money? Please let me know what you think and your plan!

And for background information, I studied engineering in college with a gpa of about 3.2 (engineering gpa from a pretty well known school), tons of volunteering/shadowing/clinical experience/EC/work experience/multiple MD recommendations. 2 years removed from college.
