What schools require dentist LOR?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
UNC and UDM. Of the 10 schools I applied to those two required Dentist LORs. UNC didn't call me for an interview (though that might be a case of Tufts syndrome or they just knew it wasn't my top pick...or they just didn't like me for the missing LOR). UDM called me for an interview but I had to reschedule and eventually cancel once I got into my top choice.

Some schools aren't too particular about this. Each school has this listed on their website. Take the time to research your schools thoroughly and you'll know for yourself.

Although I do have a dentist who agreed to write me a LOR, she's been heavily procrastinating on submitting it and I'm getting very worried/paranoid that at the rate she's going now her LOR will hold up my application significantly. I asked her to write it back in February...she still hasn't written it. two weeks ago she said she'd have it done by the end of the week and I still have nothing from her. So, given that I already have 3 LOR's from science profs (chemistry, physiology and biology lab) and one LOR from a sociology prof, I'm considering moving forward on apps without her LOR. However, I've heard that not having a dentist LOR in ones application file looks suspicious or is frowned upon. 😕 Ugh...not sure what to do!
