GC:24
OC:20

I want to know what schools I should apply to. I also have strong (IMO) ECs and LORs.

Preferably schools on the east coast. Maybe I'll apply to a couple on the west. Thanks!!!

care to share the breakdown of all the subsections?

That 16 could hurt, but I don't think it is going to be a dealbreaker. Awesome job on the 20TS though.

Apply broadly within the limitations of knowing OOS friendliness. We don't know the strengths and weaknesses of your application. From just your DAT scores, anything is a possibility. The PAT isn't a deal breaker, some schools focus solely on TS. 20TS is a strength in your DAT, albeit it's not extraordinary, but make sure to apply to dental schools that highly focus on BMS like UConn and Columbia, which both combine the dental and medical curriculum and are both OOS friendly. Of course apply in-state and have some backup private schools that are a last resort like NYU, LECOM, USC because you never know what's going to happen. And if you have the funds, apply to as many private schools possible that you might also be interested in. Like I said, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I applied to 18 schools I believe. And I got an interview at every single one of them, having the luxury to pick and choose whichever I wanted to attend was a huge stress reliever.

What were your stats?

AA: 21
TS: 22
PAT: 18

OGPA: high 3.7
SGPA: low 3.7

I almost wanted to avoid answering, but I'll suppose the benefit of the doubt and assume you'll take my following words with more importance than the numbers I posted. As I said earlier, # stats aren't the exclusive strengths and weaknesses of your application. I'd say they're are second to the person. The person comes with everything that demonstrates yourself through genuine and humble ambitions.

PAT section isn't a deal breaker? I have a 3.5 overall GPA and science, but my DAT is the following: AA 20, TS 21, PAT 17.

I am retaking because of the PAT, and my GPA decreased recently.

Can you also PM me which schools you applied to if you don't mind sharing?
