What schools should I apply to next time??

This next year I am going to be re-applying with a very similar record to what I have right now. I am going to only apply to about 10 schools at most and am mainly going to focus on the next cycle. I am going to re-take the DAT sometime in Aug or Sep but currently I have a 18AA, 19TS, 19, PAT, 17RC (I know it sucks), 14QR (I know this is even worse). My GPA, both science and not, are 3.59. I have 150hrs shadowing four different dentists in four different arenas of dentistry and about 80hrs of volunteer. I am a member of my bio honors society and was homeschooled so I don't have a ton of ECs. I have one letter from a dentist, two from science professors, one from a non-science professor, and one from a place where I volunteered. I am a Washington resident and grew up around dentistry.

Currently I am thinking about NYU, Midwestern, Nova, and Indiana.

How do these sound?
Any other schools I should look at?

I would definitely retake the DATs first of all. And secondly, I would apply to 15+ schools. Perhaps if you're minority you can go for howard or meharry. If not, then slap on atleast 10 more schools that favor GPA over DATs which you can look up on predents or on doc toothache's threads.

Thank you very much for the advice. I am planning on re-taking the DAT's and getting some work experience in the dental field. This coming year I was going to apply mainly just for the heck of it. I figured the worst they could do is throw my app in the trash. Thanks again!!
