What schools should i apply to?

Graduated college in 2010 with a double major in biology and biochemistry with a 2.93 cGPA 2.89 sGPA.
Went on to take my MCAT and got a 30P.

Since then I did some major research work and got published and also did PCOM's biomed program. I finished their 1 year program with a 3.59

So now im applying with:

3.03 cGPA
3.06 sGPA
30P MCAT

Should i bother with MD schools at all?

Should i bother with MD schools at all?

You could try at MD schools especially your state schools but you should mostly focus on DO. I'm going to assume your AACOMAS GPA is slightly higher since Math doesn't count in Science and Final grades are the only grades considered in retakes. If your AACOMAS GPA is higher close to a 3.4 you could look into applying to some top DO programs which are pretty much equivalent to if not better than lower-tier MD schools residency placement wise. Other than that MD and DO are pretty much the same, both are physicians!
