My school gives us 8 weeks for summer, so I’m wondering how best to spend this awkwardly long transitional period between M1 and M2. Although my current intention is to pursue family med, I want to keep my CV strong in case plans change during 3rd year. What’s a good (and enjoyable) way to spend my summer so I’m not stuck at home pondering life’s greatest mysteries and watching endless reruns of The Office?

If you can budget it go on some sort of trip! Or just chill. If you insist on studying don’t do anything more than maybe watch some sketchy or some Anki cards but it shouldn’t consume much of your time at all. Especially if you’re going for something non compete s is go to concerts, chill with friends, watch as many Netflix shows as I could, tinder, bumble, etc.

1st - Go on vacation, then memorize sketchy, watch all of boards and beyonds, go on vacation for a week again, start school and hate life again.

Travel. Thats what im doing lol its our last real summer!

I was planning to do research and I do want to land on a competitive field, but im guessing transitional research isnt as important as I previously thought?

If you want to boost your CV, research.

If that’s not #1 on your priority list: travel, sleep, Netflix.
I would like to try and get involved with research, but I literally have zero research background so I don't even know how to get started looking. I have heard some people work with anesthesiologists at hospitals doing research (not really sure what that even looks like, but it sounds cool), and others stick around school working with anatomy or OMM fellows. Any suggestions or experience on how to get started with that?

Git gud at Apex Legends

Update**

Looked up Apex Legends. Looks legit. Unfortunately, I have about 75% of RDR2 gameplay remaining. Thought I could bust through it over spring break. I was wrong.

Oh boah, are you in for a treat. I quit playing RDR2 before I made it to New Austin. One of the biggest mistakes of my life.

Do something: research, volunteer, etc to keep your CV strong if that's your goal. I'm going to say that after boards you will want a big break.

PubG>Apex sorry.
Absolutely not. PUBG could've been better but they forced it out before it was ready and the hit box glitches alone kill the game for me...... yet its still better than fortnite.

I was actually really disappointed that there's practically nothing in the story in the western states outside of the epilogue in Blackwater. I like the aesthetics of that area much more than the southern feel of Lemoyne, but there's not much to do there other than free roam.
