What should be my goal when making a first pass through FA?

I'm right in the thick of M2 coursework, and I'm trying to work my way through FA along with my classes. What should I be looking to accomplish during my first pass of FA? Is it enough to just recognize the high yield information and understand it, or should I be trying to learn the book cold at this point? Since I'm working through FA alongside my regular classes, about how long should it take me to make my first pass?

I'm also utilizing USMLERx alongside FA. Should the question bank serve as a primary learning tool for me, or is it best to use the questions as reinforcement/review?
