I am having a lot of trouble staying focused, staying energized and trying to concentrate when it comes to studying. Does anyone recommend any energy drinks or vitamins that I can buy from the local vitamin shoppe that I can buy? I know there are some threads about energy drinks already present, but most of them are hard to find and very expensive.

Do they sell brains?

COME ON! are you serious?

Crack, but it makes you itch

They might sell some nootropics, but some of them can be addicting or have side effects if stopped drasticaly. In my opinion a nap, followed by a snack, followed by a strong cup of coffee = optimal studying.

Shoot. Forget the energy drinks. Good old fashioned coffee seems to work for me; lots of it. Other than that, try fish oils and B-vitamins. Proper sleep and relaxation seem to help, too.

Um, I know it's being done in jest, but let's be a bit careful about recommending illegal drugs, prescription or otherwise, or attempting to give any kind of medical advice.

a good dose of exercise the night before with a nutri-grain bar after every section.

Good amount of sleep at night, enough aerobic exercise. Eating right doesn't hurt either. (in this context, eating right means a mix of simple and complex carbs, protein, and a little fat so you have a sustained supply of glucose for your brain)

Oh, and try to relax. It's important.

Also, I drank a lot of yerba mate. It's kind of like tea, but with about half as much caffeine as coffee, and it's delicious. Mmm... yerba mate...

If that other stuff doesn't work, you could always get yourself checked out for ADHD.
