Hey guys! So I don't think I'm getting in this cycle...any suggestions on what i should do before reapplying?
I did a lot of volunteering this school year (last year undergrad). I had 4 interviews but I guess I'm just not good at interviews (?). My stats are: 3.6 overall GPA, 3.53 sGPA, 21 AA/TS, 23 PA, 23 QR. I think my LOR's were pretty solid. I think my weak spot was the 75 hours of shadowing. I'm going to start shadowing an oral surgeon next week and a periodontist a few weeks after that and will have about 110-125 hours by the time I'm done. I also submitted my AADSAS application at the end of august 🙁
I'm thinking of just reapplying in June, but is there anything else I should be doing?

You've already realized your weaker points and are striving to make them better, which is all you can do. Rack up some hours, and possibly some mock interviews. And reapply early!

Are you on any wait lists or still waiting for decisions? There is still plenty of time for movement and with your stats, I would be surprised if you weren't admitted somewhere eventually unless you completely blew your interviews.

If it comes to reapplying, update numbers/application, tweak/rewrite PS as necessary, and apply earlier.

Maybe call the schools and ask them what was lacking in your application. That can help you focus in on what they say and improve your app!

Hopefully you hear back from somewhere because your stats are pretty good.

#1 improve your communication skills!! How? talk to strangers 🙂

You're a solid applicant on paper! For this upcoming cycle, apply early. Being in the first few batches is so important (wish I would have realized it!). Just as others said, do some mock interviews. Look at the interview feedback before your interviews to get a feel of the questions they will ask. Maybe pull a few questions from a couple of your top schools and do a mock interview from those (better yet, have a friend, proff, or someone pull the questions so you don't anticipate what will be asked).

Consider taping your mock interview so you can pinpoint where your weaknesses are (you do not make eye contact? fidget too much? can't articulate thoughts?)

thanks for the feedback guys 🙂
I did a few mock interviews before i went to my actual interviews and was told that i would be fine :/
I am currently waiting to hear back from 3 schools, waitlisted at 1.
