I took the PCAT last October but it was kinda low 🙁 (in the 60s) so I want to take it again this Jan 22nd. The question is I already submitted my Pharmcas application and supplemental applications to the schools a month ago. Should I update the "Test" section on the pharmcas that I'm going take the PCAT again on Jan 22nd or let the individual school know?? Does anyone here in this situation before? I got rejected from one school after they received my PCAT score from Pharmcas. I'm so confused now. 🙁

As long as you mark on the Harcourt PCAT application the PharmCAS code (104), your scores will automatically be sent to PharmCAS, and PharmCAS will automatically send those scores to your designated schools. Harcourt sends all scores to PharmCAS (I think from the past 5 years), which the schools see also. A hard copy of your scores will be mailed to those schools by PharmCAS, which may trigger them to review your application once again when they receive those changes. Don't know if it is even necessary to update the test section, or if you can after your app. has already been e-submitted. I doubt it, but you should call PharmCAS and ask.

Well, a school that I applied to told me to have my scores sent directly to the school and NOT pharmcas because it would take too long. So I would check with the individual schools, especially since the Jan. test would be cutting it close for a lot of deadlines

I would just do both, personally. Better safe than sorry.
