I ruined one of my white coats.

Instead of getting a replacement from my program, I've decided just to get my own. I dislike the 3 miniature pocket design. It will be well worth the money to not have my stethoscope and pager(s) flopping out all day.

I'm having trouble though figuring out what I should have embroidered on my coat. Our current coats just have our name's and institution badges. I want to get one with my name plus my specialty. I can get up to three lines of text. I was wondering how other people's specialties are noted on their coats because the name is so long.

Should I go for:

Llenroc, M.D.
Physical Medicine
& Rehabiliation

or

Llenroc, M.D.
Phys. Med. & Rehab

or

Llenroc, M.D.
PM&R

😕

Each line can only contain 18 characters.

When I wore one (don't anymore), it said "Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation."

Less explaining what PM&R stood for and we could just get to the discussion of what PM&R is and does.

Sorry, Haven't worn a white coat in over 10 years!😀

Skull and crossbones a la a biker jacket.

I like wearing a white coat, because I can wear polo shirts now instead of button downs.
