So I posted here awhile ago about scoring 160 on my first practice test NBME 16, after 2 weeks of studying got a 180 on NBME 15 June 27th. I asked my school If I could push my exam back a month and they said yeah, now I'm taking it August 2nd. So after not doing Uworld for a while I started back doing it 7/2/16, and my block scores are a LOT higher after taking a break. Before the break I was at 46%, after the break I am at 60%? This makes absolutely no sense to me, I would think my scores would go down since I hadn't done Uworld ( or studied anything really) for like 4 days. I decided to start Uworld again and my mind set was "well I haven't studied in days, my block percentage will probably be around 40% Ill just answer these no stress and see what percentage I get", and now Im getting 60%? I mean, it seems like Uworld is giving me easier questions, maybe after you don't do Uworld for a while the system gives you easier questions. I would hate to think all the stress I put on myself before and over thinking things had me getting low scores. One more thing, when Im taking practice test or Uworld blocks, I kinda rely a lot on " gut instinct" to pick the answer, like my mind very vaguely remember some pathophys that I studied months ago but I am not certain at all, but going with that instinct gets me the right answer a lot of the times. I don't want to rely on that for the test though, I want to for sure KNOW the answer to most questions.
