i'm pretty sure i was done by 1 or 1:30PM. are you referring to the foggy bottom metro station? if so, it's literally a few steps outside of the medical center. good luck.

Go to wmata.com
Type in Union station as your start point, foggy bottom as your destination, and the time you need to arrive. This will tell you how long it will take on the DC metro.
