Believe it or not, my exam ended past 8:00 PM. It was straight ridiculous. Doors opened up at 8 am. Had the 3 worst proctors you can ever ask for. They handed out the exams. Recollected them, and gave us a new form. We started sometime way after nine. Lunch break started at 2 PM. Bio section after 6 PM. Not to mention a total evacuation of the room at the beginning of the second essay b/c of an electrical failure that was causing smoke to come from the AC vents. AHHH!!!!!! Physics wasn't too bad, but the BIO section was a killer. I had maybe 2 Orgo passages and the rest were long bio readings which mad no sense to me cuz I was exhausted after 6. Anyone else have any odd or horrific experiences today??

We finished shortly after 4:00pm. Everyone showed up by 8:00am so we ended up starting before 9:00 and there were only ~25 people in my exam room, so everything went smooth as gravy.

Whoa, kdburton! Did you test at Binghamton U also? Same situation there. Alot of people dropped out so there were very few test takers at my site. The proctors were pretty quick and accurate with everything so it went really quickly. Guess we got lucky that nothing went wrong?

Started PS at 8:35 AM, got out at 4:25 PM. Very fast proctors. She started each section once everyone was back in the room and seated, meaning we started after each break about 3-5 min. early and she read very quickly.

finished exactly at 4 pm.. there were only 8 of us in a huge auditorium and we each had our own circular table... it was by far the best testing conditions i've ever had... and forget it, i'll never tell you where i was

Were you at NYU on the 8th floor? I could swear my proctor jipped us on break time.

I started at 8:20 am ended exactly at 4:00 pm. I think the proctorers make a big difference---mine was extremely perky and goofy and made us all laugh. She was getting sick of reading the same directions over and over again.

That is crazy...those idiots should be fired.

Started around 8:30 (I wanted to switch computers) and finished around 3:00pm on CBT. Though there were folks who were done earlier who had taken shorter breaks.

I thought my test center was great because we started around 8:45 and ended around 4:40. The proctors were really sweet and making jokes the whole time, which helped calm the nerves. The test was in a hotel so there were like 250+ people or so in the room, but that didn't seem to make much of a difference, just a lot more shuffling of papers. The only little annoyance was the proctors standing by the mike and whispering during the sections...not realizing that whispering by the mike is like talking into it...  but other than that it was a good test experience... although totally exhausting nonetheless... 😴

75 ppl at mine. started after 9, lunch at 130, got out at about 630. crazy traffic in the city so i didnt get home til 8. BOO!

I feel so bad for you all with the long days!

I was in a nice big lecture hall and they had us sitting one empty chair between each person and every other row, so I think that there was about 100-150 people there max. I was sitting in the front row, which was so nice since I couldn't see anyone anyone else taking the test unless I started looking around.

I think that we finally get everyone in a little after 8:20 and started the first section about 8:50. Lunch was at 12:30 and I left there at 5:10.

probably around 100 in my room...started 8:45 and ended at 5:15. not too bad. the only annoying thing about the proctors was that they didn't want to let us go to the b-room. that, and some guy started filling in his name and social security number early, and the proctor yelled at him and made him feel really bad. it was kinda funny.

4:15pm I can't complain

Mine was not too bad...about 15 people in the room...we each got our own desk, and another to put pencils and such...proctors were nice and got out by 4:20...

started at like 9ish and ended around 6:15
after I got out, there were people celebrating with champagne and drinking alcohol on campus (Brown)
there were 200+ people taking the exam

I heard from other people that there were cases of beer just sitting outside the building at Notre Dame.

5:30 central time!!!

the proctors got the order of the VR tests mixed up so all the codes were mis miatching they had to collect them and re organize and redistribute

I definitely come from a small town..

17 people. 8:25ish - 4:00ish

we all showed up about 3 minutes early from our break before BS because we were so anxious to get out of there. haha

my testing center was an ice box! i was soooo cold and it was about 80 degrees outside.

one of the proctors was typing away on her laptop. laksdjfaolsiejrfosajdfls it was THE most distracting thing EVER. I couldn't concentrate on PS because of her and I didn't stop to tell her because I didn't want to lose anymore time.

it was 88 degrees in our room, the proctors messed up the books, and some fool kept pulling the fire alarm...3 times. we started at 8:00 and ended at 6:00 😡

Our proctors were nice, but definetly their first time...it was a mission just to find a room, then we had to wait forever to sign in, and the passing out of the forms.. :scared:

We didn't start verbal until like 12 something and the day was over at 6:30..

I was sooo tired.

Also took the CBT. I was done by 2:00pm. The test was the same length, but you go at your own pace. I opted not to take long breaks, and there's no time lost waiting for other people or waiting for the proctors to collect the tests. 👍

However, if you stare at those crummy computer screens for that long, your brain starts to liquify. 👎

Exactly, it's great. I only took 40 min. for lunch, and when I finished verbal, writing, and bio early, I didn't have to wait for group form filling.
