If there's one thing where I do procrastinate, it's sleep. This often keeps me up at night
Do people really love sleep? Ive always thought about that and ive come to the conclusion that people don't love sleep, they just hate the sensation of waking up. amirite?
Some people have different circadian rhythms.
Gene CRY1 variant alters circadian clock contributing to delayed sleep phase disorder, study finds
I usually go to sleep around 12 and wake up at 6 or 7 am.
Usually I don't finish work in that time period before class. I use that time to get a start on material covered in the class ahead, so that things make more sense once I listen to the lecture. That way if I can't get through all of the material, it won't be that big of deal. For those early risers, how do you make sure you finish your work in that two hour time period before class?
Same here with me. I missed so much class in college because they were in the morning lol but now that I'm done and I'm living back home I tend to wake up before 9, don't know what's going on.In college, I got up at about 11 on average, witch is unfortunate because I had classes at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 most semesters. I'm not a note taker, so I would just catch up with the lecture notes around test time and be good.
Out of school for a few months and I weirdly wake up at around 7-9, I don't have work early in the morning or anything, I just still naturally wake up that early. It's pretty weird
Sophomore-junior year I'd do 7AM to 12AM days full of productivity. Nonstop classes, research, studying, but that was on bucketloads of coffee. I'm a couple of weeks into quitting caffeine before dental school starts and it's resulted in a weird schedule. I sleep at 12AM, get up at 10AM, crash 2~5PM. 13 hours and I still can't hang. Don't even recognize my body anymore.
That's the reason why I tend to avoid caffeine outright... But recently I have been drinking it a bit more. But still no more than two cups a week.Sophomore-junior year I'd do 7AM to 12AM days full of productivity. Nonstop classes, research, studying, but that was on bucketloads of coffee. Out of curiosity, does taking a month or two long break off of caffeine reduce your tolerance back to what it originally was? I try to stray from caffeine as much as I can until I really need it but it's killing me right now
