Hello dear SDN readers
Let's say that an applicant is interested in a particular specialty prior to starting med school. Obviously this could and probably will change during the journey, but go with me here. What should one look for/ask about at interviews when gauging if the school will be a good place to study in hopes of matching to that specialty? For example, if someone is interested in ENT, does the school need to have an ENT residency? Strong research in that area? Or can away rotations cover this if it's not a big focus at that school? Or are most schools gonna provide equal footing? Basically what should applicants look for on interview day/second visits/etc ? Thanks.
