all I have to say is ooooohhhhhhh my gooooooodnesssss!!!! :scared: :scared: :scared:

Good golly, some surgical tech wasn't doing their job. Not to mention the surgeon's neglect. This should never happen. A surgical tech counts all instruments and sponges and is suppose to keep an acruate count. People were clearly sleeping on the job. That poor patient.

I would be so pissed if I was her. That must have hurt.

Yikes! 😱

Why didn't the tech count all his or her instruments? And why didn't the surgeon ask if the counts were correct? Every surgeon I have been with in the OR asks if the counts are correct before closing up the patient.

Scary, scary thing... 😱 :scared: 😱
