if you're presenting something, sure, but otherwise, it is not the best use of money from a financial perspective.
Interesting, for at least all my co-fellows it has been an absolute no-brainer. The learning alone justifies it in my mind, presenting or not, and then its a chance to meet friends, get out and not feel guilty. Attending them is expensive, pick and choose where to go, but this was the biggest chunk of where CME money went from the fellows in my program went.
buy Ipad /laptop etc and get the cash with receipt. return them after you submit receipts to gme if you don't need them
