What to do during two years before getting into Dental?

I am applying this summer to dental school, and assuming that I don't get in for that cycle. What should I do during the two years, assuming my second time is a better chance.

My GPA is 3.62 overall and science is 3.65. Also my DAT is a AA is 20.

I was thinking about just working anywhere, because dental assistant is hard to get a job for.

As long as you have good LORs and ECs, you should be fine. You have a solid GPA and DAT so don't assume that you won't get in. As people consistently say, apply early and you should have no problem getting accepted to school
