I got a interview invite 1 week ago, and sent a reply saying which dates I would prefer. Now it's 1 week later and I still haven't heard back for a confirmation email. What should I do? Call the prog coordinator? Send another email?

Just show up on whatever day works best for you, they'll totes understand.

You're not seriously asking this question, are you? Because anyone interviewing for the position of...you know...doctor, should be able to deal with something like this without needing to invoke the collective "wisdom" of the intarnets.

Yes, call, email, semaphore, sext, whatever. There's only one person who can give you the info you need and the chance that s/he is on SDN is vanishingly small.

This very situation happened to me twice when I was getting interviews lined up. The first time it happened I sent a second email after a couple days of hearing nothing, and when I still got no reply I called the coordinator. Turns out she never received any of my emails, and she told me she'd had similar problems from others, but this seemed to go away if people REPLIED to one of her emails (as opposed to sending her a new email). Dunno what was up with that.

The second time it happened I sent a second email from the initial email address as well as a completely different email address. The coordinator only ever received the email from the different address, so I guess some people just have trouble receiving email from my gmail account. Kinda' weird though because the vast majority of programs had no trouble whatsoever.

Long and short of it, if you don't hear back within a day or two, email again with a different email address or call.

Why would you wait an entire week? Anyway, interview dates fill up fast and program coordinators are extremely busy.

As gutonc mentioned above, you're going to be a doctor soon...you should be able to figure this one out. Good luck.
