What to do when spouse leaves you as a prelim?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I am actually enjoying Doowai's posts, only because I am tired of reading posts from normal/sane people.

So Doowai, if a woman steps out of line, what can I do to keep her in check? Also, since most modern women are evil dishonest dreamkillers, would you recommend we go ahead and marry our fellow men?

Well,

Interesting read. An an evil medical mom of 4, I'll just pass on the advice I give to my daughter when my son is teasing her: IGNORE dear colleagues, ignore this person. (I forgot to say ugly, but wait... I'm married so does that mean I'm hot? I did get married before medicine... so... oh no, I'm straight now. I'm over 30 - so definitely all used up and ugly now.)

Oh, and maybe pray the program director's will once again be able to detect this person during an interview.

S-

My main prayer now is that you and the other drunken dog loving doctors die in your next DUI.

And yet you want to go into family practice because you are so altruistic and care about mankind, eh?

Ah, the irony of calling all women dream-killers while simultaneously not allowing women to pursue their own dreams that involve anything other than pumping out babies and raising them at home 24/7.

I spent the first page of this thread alternating between horror and anger at Doowai's posts. The second page was more amusement.

Your brain is filled with dark, dark corners. If I was paid to be your therapist, I'd love to know about your relationship with your mother, and what kind of a woman she might've been. But I'm not paid to be your therapist, and instead, I'll just feel pity for your wife and family for having to endure you.

If you were the "real man" you professed to be, you'd proudly proclaim your real name all over the airwaves and your views about maternity and women doctors at your future residency interviews. The other "real men" doctors out there who uniformly share your views of womenhood will probably applaud your wisdom and bravery. I suspect a residency offer is right around the corner for you.

This song is for all the selfish women (and few guys who sit down to pee and did so as well) who hijacked this thread and made it about them

Let's see, that would be...you!

"Brilliant!"

doesn't the fact that this clown dedicates a tune to "men who sit down to pee" kinda weird you out? i mean all that bottled up rage regarding gender roles. i think this guy is seriously diseased.

no doubt it's about his mother.

Why in the world did I read all of this?🙄

-Doowai I'll have to go with my fellow "evil female physician" colleagues Sophie and Kimberli and just agree to disagree. We all have different perspectives and I suppose that makes the world go round.
-Lost1 best of luck with everything with your wife/marriage and next stage of training. Hopefully both of you will persevere and support each other and look back on this struggle for how it allowed you to both grow.
