What to do?

At my interview at a state school they said that the committee will meet the 26th of november. decisions are made that day.

my problem is whether to call the school on the 27th to find out if i got rejected or accepted. i don't want to bother them or seem pushy, but i'd love to know before thanksgiving. the holiday will only slow down the mail and prolong my agony.
y'all see any problem with calling and asking my status?

Nope..they wouldn't have told you that if they didn't want you to know when they'd know if you were in. Call and find out. No harm done. If you're in...who cares if you're pushy? If you were rejected..they can go to hell, right? No harm done either way. They'd already have made a decision anyway, see?

i know they told someone last month over the phone "we can't say if you got in, but it's good news"
