Hi, I am a student at Albany College of Pharmacy.
Pre-Pharmacy is only two years here. What should I study for the PCAT? I have review book for the PCAT and I am studying that now. How many hours should I commit to studying for the PCAT?

I heard that there is something called Audiolearn for the MCAT. Is there something like that for the PCAT? If not, is there a way I can download it for free?

I am very weak in the Reading part of the exam. Are there courses or anything I can do to improve my reading and writing skills?

Thank You 🙂🙂 future Pharmacists.

On the sidenote, does anyone know if one will ready for the PCAT if one takes Bio 101 I&II, Chem 101 I&II, Calculus I, Organic Chem I&II, and Anatomy and Physiology I&II, and an English Class

Yes, those classes are sufficient for success on the PCAT. There is, however, a forum dedicated to PCAT-related issues. Instead of clicking on "pre-pharmacy", click on "PCAT discussions". You will find answers to some of your questions there.

👍

For some reason, I think you're a nice version of nicole. Nicole is probably going to hurt me when she reads this

Anyway, I used the Kaplan book to study for the PCAT. I've read many posts on this forum that say the Dr. Collins course is very helpful.

IMO, reading books from your classes and learning very well from them should help on the PCAT. When I used the Kaplan book, it helped me review things I have already learned, but it was difficult for me to learn something new from a review book.

Also IMO, reading and writing just take practice. As you do it over and over, you can start to figure out what works for you and it will give you an idea of where you can improve.
