So I have my interview tomorrow morning... they told me to bring a typed paragraph of my shadowing experience. Is there anything else I should be sure to take with me? The lady on the phone said I didn't need to bring anything else.

LADIES: What purse do you normally take to your interview? I'm torn between a clutch and a medium-large handbag? Both are similar looking. Ideas? Suggestions?

Maybe a mid-size dufflebag, or rolling carry-on suitcase that matches your pumps?

Why would you need a purse in an interview? If you want to possibly bring your credentials like a drivers licence, just put it in a folder with your notepad.

Hey! Get off SDN and finish your histology paper! ha ha

Don't forget to bring a pen just in case they need you to fill out any paperwork. They made me at Minnesota and I felt like an idiot asking the fellow predents for a pen!

Typo on license, smart-*****.

So where do you suggest I store my keys and my tampons? I guess by your logic it would be better to hold them the entire time I'm in my interview. Thanks for the great advice!

At the interviews I have attended I have seen both large and small handbags. pick the one that you are more comfortable holding and the one that looks the most professional. Make sure it is not busy/colorful and do not fiddle with it during your interview.

Also, be sure to have a pen like others have mentioned.

OH and good luck!!

(sorry i guess this response was too late... hope you are doing well at the interview though)

Lol- Again this is prob too late...but I brought a regular sized purse for keys, wallet etc. You will not bring your purse into the actual interview anyway. Have fun!
