What to wear to open house?

PCOM-GA is holding an open house on the 26th, and I'm planning on attending. However, I'm not sure what to wear; is the faculty expecting to see people wearing business-casual attire in the style of what you'd wear to an interview? Would it look bad to wear khaki shorts and a short-sleeved Penguin shirt (think Polo)?

Business casual is the way to go. Do not wear shorts. Khaki pants with a polo or button down is fine.

Agreed. Unless you're open housing as a senior applying to the school at the time of the open house, there is no reason to get dressed to the nines. No one is going to remember you in a year.
