What to wear to orientation at Nova?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You should wear a green sear-sucker suit with a florescent dress shirt, alligator wing tips, a boa tie, and a fedora. J/K

Always wear a black or navy suit with a dress shirt and tie and black dress shoes. I think that the tie should be conservative.

Okay, so same as the interview? The only reason I asked is that the orientation is more than one day I believe. So, I would have to buy another suit.

im not at Nova...but if you're already in...wear whatever you want...business casual at most

At my orientation I was in shirt and tie, some others were in suits and by the end of the week most of us were down to slacks and a polo.

lol

i would say wear a suit on the first day of your orientation, then dress whatever you want after that.

Personally, since you're already in, I think you can wear whatever you please for orientation. Unless there's something about NOVA I'm missing.

tommy bahama walking shorts, sperrys, and no shirt. come on, it's ft. lauderdale. you'll see.

business casual for orientation, then you'll be in scrubs for the rest of the term

ya, most orientations start suits the first day, then the dress goes to **** by the end of the week. Its the nature of the beast. Business casual is totally appropriate. While there isnt a dress code for orientation per se, you want to make a good first impression.
