I'm excited to be interviewing at BU and MGH on 2/5, but to be honest, I'm most nervous about what to wear. Any advice from people who have interviewed in these or similar programs? Thanks so much!

I wore a nice pair of dress slacks, dress shirt, and a blazer.

Never interviewed there but if I was I would wear a suit either gray or navy. Not black.

I wore a black suit with a gray pinstripe button down, and pointy short black boots. I chose black because it was easier to match for me, and the boots because I interviewed in winter and wanted to balance comfort with professionalism. Also, I put my hair in a pony tail, and did very light make up. This is important because if you're a bleach blonde, the bronzer will make you look very "basic bitch", and you likely won't be taken as seriously. You can wear your hair down, though, but if you're terrible at keeping it neat like I do, neat pony tails come in handy!

What others wore varied, but for the most part they wore blouses with sweaters or blazers in gray, black, or navy. There were admittedly more pumps than heeled boots, so the boots were a personal preference. Also, no skirts at my interview (of around 27), but I saw some people interviewing in optometry with them.

So there we go, I think I've covered everything, I hope this helps!
Edit: I didn't interview at those schools, but I'm sure it will be cold and I wouldn't be surprised if there was snow.
