For the work experience/activities, do we only list exactly what we did? Should I talk about what the experience/activity means to me and what i've learned from it or should I leave this evaluation part for the personal statement?

Thanks!

Although a few disagree with this, the general consensus on SDN (and from my friends in med school) seems to be that you should keep your descriptions concise and objective. If the institution/program/award is not well-known, you can add a couple short sentences about what it's about. There is plenty of room in your personal statement, secondaries, and interview to talk about what your activities mean to you.

Stick to 4 sentences or less. If you feel compelled to list more, then perhaps it should be in your PS as well. Try not to butter it up however. They just want an idea of what you did; if something interests them, they will ask you about it.
