Instead of hunting through all of the individual schools' threads, I thought it would be nice to have this thread to compile a list of top 30 schools that we could hear from before Jan/Feb/Mar.

The schools that I know release acceptance waves in the fall are:
UChicago Pritzker (some in October)
Northwestern (wave in Nov, wave in Dec, another in Feb)
UCLA (theoretically, before December)
Vandy (wave in mid-Dec, another in Feb)
WashU (starts in November) [thank you @olayalas!]
Emory (starts in Oct)
UNC (starts in Oct or maybe Dec)
UVA (starts in Oct) [thank you @renman97!]
University of Washington (first wave in Dec, second in March)
University of Michigan (by 20th of the month after your interview) [thank you @Mr. Dr. Prof. Patrick!]
Case Western (October)
Johns Hopkins (December)
Cleveland Lerner (December)
NYU (Oct)

And, schools that do NOT:
Duke (Feb)
Harvard (March)
Yale (Feb)
Columbia (March)
Mayo (Feb)
NYU (Jan)
Pitt (Jan)
Stanford (Jan for first wave) [thank you @renman97!]
Penn (March)
Cornell (March)

What other schools either do or don't release decisions this fall/early winter?

Emory, UNC, UVA are all supposedly rolling beginning in October. I think Johns Hopkins sends a wave in December. Baylor begins in November

NYU and Pitt are one batch in January I believe. Stanford has 3 waves, 1st one in January I think

Since when does UNC release decisions in October? I thought they usually started sending them in December.

Johns Hopkins - December
Case western university program - October
Cleveland Lerner college program - December
Edit: Penn and Cornell are non-rolling so both release on one day in March

Colorado will release decisions starting 4-6 weeks post-interview

You will be accepted--or not--in due time. Please take two chill pills and call me in the morning.

I'm thinking about this in terms of scheduling and canceling interviews, and trying to help other people do the same.

No need to make a post dripping with condescension! If this thread makes you mad, I'm sorry, that was not my intention.

Yikes! Apparently, my prescription is needed (though not heeded) more than I thought!
