Hello Current students. When you applied to Podiatry school, what was your:

I was accepted this year with a 4.0 cum GPA and 27 MCAT (9, 9, 9 and don't remember my verbal)

You mean your writing sample 😀 Verbal Reasoning is one of your 9s if I'm not mistaken. For those who take the MCAT in the future practice the writing sample. I wrote it off completely and did terrible on it. Luckily I did well on the MCAT or it may have hurt me, who knows.

Ha! You're right ... thanks for catching that. I meant writing (which is scored with a letter for those of you who haven't taken the MCAT), so it does not affect your overall score, which is why hightower, as well as myself, thought of it as less important. I did below average (can't remember the letter) b/c I thought I was fine since I worked at the Writing Center at my university, but there is a specific way to organize your thoughts that actually requires a bit of practice. So I second what hightower said about practicing the writing sample.
