If you could ask a current med student at one of the med schools you are considering matriculating at anything, what would you ask? Trying to generate a list of questions. Thanks!

Is the curriculum of the pre-clinical years arranged logically? Does it flow well and continue building on your knowledge while giving you good clinical correlations throughout?

How early do you potentially get to have patient contacts?

What opportunities are there for research?

It kinda depends on what year they are.

M1:
How has your transition from UG been? Is there support from administration?
What do you do for fun?

M2:
What's housing like?
What do you do for fun?
How accessible were your M1 professors?

M3:
Did your pre-clinical curriculum prepare you pretty well for Step 1?
Did you have enough time for dedicated prep time?
How did your school setup your clinical rotation schedule?
What kind of traveling do you have to do (if any) for rotations?

M4:
Favorite/least favorite thing about your school/city?
How was M3 grading?
Did you have any time during M3 to explore anything outside the core clerkships?

A question I always asked on interview days was: "what do you wish you had known about this school prior to matriculating that you have discovered while attending the school?"

+1

Nice list and I like the breakdown by year.
