I'm not sure if this post should be in the post bacc, master's, non traditional forums or here.
I applied to post baccs/masters whose deadlines are approaching soon. I told 2 of the programs that I was retaking my MCAT if they would wait to review my app until my I receive my scores, they agreed. I spoke to my MCAT tutor and he told me if I do well on the MCAT I wont have to apply to the post bacc programs. My thing is I'm a nontraditional student (graduated 2013) and I wanted to get in a program before medical school since it's been a while. I'm not sure if I should postpone the MCAT to June/July and apply to medical school or take the MCAT this month for the programs.
I guess it would depend on whether I'm ready for the MCAT right?
Edit: medical mission trip, leadership, volunteering at shelters and hospitals, former teacher and tutor, scribe, shadowing, 3.0-3.2 gpa, diy post bacc 3.6-3.8, Mcat <500, Good LOR but only from professors.
