what year in college is right to take DAT?

    i am a junior and i'll be senior after this fall semester(but 3rd year in college)
    i don't know when is right for me to take DAT?
    my pre dent adviser told me i can take it in early senior year but it seems to me that's too late..
    also when should i start apply for dental schools??
    i heard earlier you apply, better chance to get in..is it true??

    Assuming you are following the 4 year degree plan, most students take the exam some time during their junior year. They apply to dental schools during the spring of their junior year. Then go to interviews during the fall/spring of their senior year. :)

    You're right. You CAN take it during your senior year but it would be a little late.
