hey all... i know we are all thinking about this, but what are we gonna' do if we don't get into dental school this year.. i mean yes, lets hope that we all get what we want, but what is plan b? lets hope we don't have to use plan b, but what is everyone thinking about?

I'll start, I'm thinking if it doesn't happen, after I recover from my long depression 🙁 .........I should either reapply or do a masters and then reapply... 😕 ...

u guys?

yes thts a very imp point...
i was thinking of maybe working as a dental asst for that one year as well as doing some more volunteer work.
i dont really want to do a masters..do u think working would be fine?
whts everyone's plans?
hopefully we wont have to resort to them 😕

Since my major is Zoology, I've been thinking that if I don't get in I'll start up a petting zoo.

retake dat until i get 25's across the board.

also, do you think ppl who got rejected are entitled to an explanation from the adcom about their decision?

imm follow my second dream and join the AIR FORCE... always wanted to be a fighter pilot.

I was ethology, so I had a zoo back up plan too 😀

If you have the grades and the bare minimums plus a few bonus classes you should be fine--I think the schools like people with a non-traditional 'pre-dent' major, it makes for a more varied and interesting class.

yea i will have to say my plan b is to be a famous movie star and plan c then would have to be a race car driver, so do u think i should consider a plan d or do u guys think that i will be fine with just 2 backups.

The best Plan B is to make Plan A happen!

But really, if at first you don't succeed...try, try again! I think many of us on this forum are reapplicants, including myself. So if this is what you really want to do, just improve your application, become more competetive...and go for it!

I guess I could always work at the DQ, they said they would take me back.
