Well, I told you pretty much what I thought in the PM, but for other people's sakes, I'll say it again and try and add more.

Beautiful school. It's less than 5 minutes away from the strip and not on UNLV's main campus. Being only 4 years old means they have very new and very state of the art equipment and clinics. The admissions staff was some of the friendliest I've met. Dr. Brownstein and Dr. Ancajhas (sp?) were great people. The real stuff was talking to the students though. They love it. They're happy and really liking how things are going. The teachers I met make it a point to treat you like a college since that's what you'll be in a couple years. They don't put themselves on a high pedastal and look down their noses at the students. After getting residency (after the first year) then the price drops quite a bit and that is helpful in the long run. I like the fact that they use laptops rather than textbooks. Personally I would want to live a bit out of the main city, but that's just me. Vegas has a lot more than just the strip as I'm sure anyone who lives there will tell you. The rising cost of housing is a con for sure. House prices are going nuts there as they are in Arizona.

Pros: If you would like to be in a COMPETELY paperless school, then this place may be fore you. They pride themselves on this issue. The admissions people are nice. They do have new stuff. They teach the oral sciences by organ system, which some people like. So you learn about anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology of the kidney all at the same time; then move on to another system. Some people like this approach. If you want to practice in Nevada, you should definately go here. It is hard to pass Nevada state boards later, as I understand. If you practice in Las Vegas, it is rumored that your chances of financial success are, well, GREAT!

Cons: Some people don't like to learn by the system by system approach. They like it the standard way since the boards are tested in sections such as Physiology, Biochemistry, etc. So that may be a con. Tuition is extremly expensive. If you don't like to be completely paperless, this may be a bad school as well. Also, as mentioned, the school is way new. In other words, they don't have a lot of research stuff going on yet, so if you want to get into research, this may not be an ideal school for you.

GOOD LUCK YALL
