What's my GPA?

This may sound stupid to some people, but I honestly have no clue. I've completed my B.S degree (Kinesiology), and it states on my transcript "Cumulative: 3.6021 and Overall: 3.5333." My first two years were spent at a CC and the remaining two at my local University. I'm assuming that is why it shows a cumulative and overall GPA. Also, I took one semester at a PT school (3.5 GPA). My question is this, will my GPA calculate the same through AMCAS & AACOMAS? Or are they calculated differently? Oh, a little more info, both colleges grade on a A,B,C grading system.

Edit: I am asking because I used an excel calculator and it says my GPA is a 3.36. Needless to say, depression kicked in and attempting to study for the MCAT has come to a halt.

Hmmmm maybe you're missing something in your excel sheet? I don't think anyone can really help you without looking at the transcripts themselves they can't tell what your college meant by "cumulative and overall". It appears you do have 99 mGPA though so thats pretty solid.

Are you using a GPA calculator geared towards medical school? It could be quite different from your transcript GPA if you had any retakes where only the highest score counted since medical schools count every course regardless.

Yeah. The calculator determines AACOMAS and AMCAS GPA (found it on Reddit). Well... This is awful lol. A med school nearby is meeting with a few of us this weekend to look over our PS, transcripts, etc... I guess they will tell me if I need to become a professional butt wiper or apply to med school.

I always question if people are/were true RS players. This statement just proved you are Boaty is the man lol. I was never a pker myself, but his videos are gold. Hmmm... I've got an idea. Maybe if I send one of the med schools a phat it will cover me. They will probably throw me a scholarship or two as well.

You bet haha I have 13 99's that was until they got rid of botting at least. Oh ya I was definitely into pking and still get on to pk every once in a while, and I'm pretty sure impossible not to like B0aty lol. It's definitely worth a shot! Maybe throw in a few bandos sets to seal the deal idk what could go wrong with that.

You're still in a decent spot to get into a DO school. I would take a gap year to take some more classes to raise your GPA a bit and really focus on the MCAT. Combined with some solid ECs and you will be in good shape. Good luck.

Life lesson: Neuroticism kills... I have kicked myself all day trying to figure out why my GPA is that low. Apparently the calculator only works for x amount of grades (I've taken so many classes). Anyways, I have a low BCPM GPA, 3.33... So far I have really good EC's, a guaranteed interview (praise God), and I am banking on a good MCAT lol.

Ya I didn't play that much I just botted got 99 runecrafting in like 3 weeks. Range was the first 99 I ever got. No lie I have a friend who plays D1 football, huge dude like 340lb 6'6, back in the day he was at my house in a diff room from me playing and I convinced him I could "double his money" and ended up taking his whole bank as a joke, and when I logged out I have never seen such a big guy rage so hard. I had to hide for my life

Your sGPA is a little low for MD, but probably worth it to apply to your state schools at the very least, and you're fine for DO. Haha ya it sounded like it had to be an error with excel.
