Okay, I didn't know exactly what to name this thread. I know what is on the MCAT. I am a post-bac student and I took Gchem over the summer. I am taking Physics, Ochem, and Bio this year. My last term (I am on quarters) does not end until June 8th. I was hoping to take the May 1st MCAT. This is 6 weeks before finals of the last section of those classes. Am I missing something major or do people think this would work? Anyone do the same thing, or other ideas? Thanks!

It's hard to answer that question because every class is different in terms of pace and depth. Were you thinking of taking a prep course along with all of that? It would help because they give you their books and you can just go through that. And if you have problems, you can refer to your textbooks/professors. Or you could just get a PR book or something from the library and jot down the major concepts to study from your textbooks.

I really think the prep course is a waste of money. Just study off of books and it will cover the same material and save you 1800 dollars.

Personally, with volunteering and having such a heavy term, I know I need something like the class to keep me on track.
