Hey all...just had a quick question that I am hoping someone can answer:

Is St.Lukes-Roosevelt (in NYC) affliliated with Columbia? The reason why I ask is because I hear that it is, but their website doesn't make it out to be SOO affiliated (in other words, it's written in a 1 liner that they are an affiliate hospital)

If is NOT afflilated, does it carry the reputaion that Columbia has?

Thanks

They are a community hospital affiliated with Columbia. About half of the Columbia med students rotate there. The attendings there as far as I could tell are not Columbia faculty (I recently interviewed there). I don't think it has the reputation of Columbia, but it seems to be a reasonable, large, community hospital.
