I'm curious is there a difference between a "staff" Pharmacist and a "clinical" Pharmacist? The VA hospital seems to separate the two. Is this CVS, Walgreens Pharmacist v.s. Diabetic, Coumadin Pharmacist?

In practise, staff often means the technical duties of a pharmacist at a hospital - entering orders, verifying, IV's, etc. Clinical usually relates to non-technical duties - this includes a variety of things, warfarin clinics, dosing meds, going on rounds, ect.

The distinction does not apply to retail pharmacists at all. It also does not apply to small hospitals in my experience - every pharmacist does everything, there is no separation of duties.
